Ghost Job Detector is a free tool that analyses the text of LinkedIn job listings for signals commonly associated with ghost jobs: vacancies posted with no genuine intention to hire. It is provided as a helpful guide for job seekers and is not intended as professional, legal, or careers advice.
The tool uses heuristic scoring based on patterns in text. It cannot verify information independently, access historical posting data, or assess factors outside the text you provide. A low ghost likelihood score does not guarantee a role is genuine. A high score does not confirm it is fake. Results should be treated as one input among many when evaluating a job opportunity.
